What is C21 Teller Capture™?
Bluepoint Solutions’ C21 Teller Capture is a one-of-a-kind, real-time, point-of-presentment software that allows you to capture and process checks as they arrive at the teller line. This means that checks clear in the absolute shortest time possible.

Why should a credit union capture at the teller workstation?
First, because the capture takes place during the transaction by the teller performing the transaction. It is handled by the employee who understands that transaction best. There is no guesswork involved by someone who is unfamiliar with the transaction.

Second, capturing at the teller station allows your credit union to employ fraud-detection schemes while the member is still present - before any funds have been credited or exchanged hands.

Why would I need both C21 Teller and C21 Batch? Doesn’t C21 Teller eliminate the need for batch scanning?
Not necessarily. In some cases, a mixed environment of Teller and Batch may be appropriate. For example, if your credit union has a busy merchant window, you may not want to detain a member while the teller scans a large stack of checks. In this situation, you may want to limit at-teller capture to two or three checks per transaction, and save more complicated transactions to be captured later.

Does C21 Teller integrate into Receipt Manager?
Yes! C21 Teller and C21 Receipt Manager are integrated; check images are captured only once. The single image is electronically attached to the receipt as part of the Receipt Manager process and is also used for electronic presentment purposes. This eliminates the need for multiple scanning.
